This book is about a horse called Rio
He is my horse and you will know more about him later in this book.
I hope you like him!!

My horse is called Rio. He is 15.1 hands. He is nine years old. He is brown and white. He has a long shaggy mane. Grandma bought him for me about a month ago. I was really pleased. Rio is stabled at New Croft Farm on Torbay Road.
I go on my bike to see him twice a day.
In the morning before school and after school when I have finished my homework. Every day his stable needs mucking out. His feed bucket needs filling with horse feed and I aiways leave him a bucket of carrots
The water bucket needs filling up too.

Every day I have to groom him. I brush him all over. I use a Dandy brush to get mud off and to do his mane and tail.
A body brush for his face and to get dust off
A hoof pick to get mud and stones out of his feet.

Sometimes Rio can be a Jekell and Hyde. When he is on his Jekell day he is naughty He does these naughty things Which are:
tossing his head
barging out of his stable

When he is on his Hyde days he does these loveable things:-
He lets you kiss him and stroke him. When you stoke him he closes his eyes

When you are riding him, he goes on the bit and he is pretty too!!
