A True Story

This is a true story that happened when I was 11 years old.

One Saturday afternoon I called for Lee and we went to see the horses. After we had visited the horses we walked back home by the canal bank Lee saw a pool of sand. He stepped in it and got stuck. He was frightened.

I tried to pull him out but the force was too strong so I ran over the road to get some help. I knocked on a house door. A man opened the door and got some rope to pull Lee out. He got Lee out and we said "Thank-you". Lee was a bit messy and he said to me, "That was scarey!"
